Should I say more. Just look at the photo of a cockroach that we found on our bed. We arrived late at our room at 9:00PM and woke up the next day around 7:00AM. Unfortunately l, we were not the only ones sleeping in the bed. We found this cockroach on the bed. We placed it in a cup, packed our bags and brought it to the front desk.
We mentioned it to the desk and they said they would mention it to someone. I was like that s it? He said he was new. I asked for a manager and Kevin who is the manager of security responded. He looked at the cockroach in the cup and in his opinion confirmed that it was a cockroach. He said when they have these issues they address them with their exterminators and that they will show it to their exterminator.
He asked if there was anything that could be done and I asked for a new room. He tried to place us higher in the hotel but all the rooms were taken. So we stayed one floor lower. He asked if we wanted breakfast and we originally said no. I asked for a comp on the room and he said since we booked with Expedia (a third party) he would not be able too.
He placed a $50.00 credit on our account that we could spend on goods or services within the hotel. We eventually did try the breakfast and that was over priced for $14.99, that food was bad. The bacon was undercooked, there were only a few pieces of bread and pasties to choose from. I can pretty much continue on the food but the main reason for a one star rating comes from the cockroach and the hotels lack of response that they really cared and felt embarrassed about it. Looks like this happens a lot there. Also to wait 25 mins both times for your vehicle from valet is poor. I belive they rent parking from another hotel. Save you re money, and avoid a chance to bring cockroaches home with you. WARNING DONT STAY HERE.
