Purchase of a 2016 RAM 1500 Laramie - Thought I would write a review of a great experience that I had at Covert Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. I was in the market for a new Truck and I was just about assured that I would be purchasing another Ford but was not real thrilled about the aluminum body. So I decided to do some research on the Ram 1500 with the 5.7 Hemi. I was going to make my first stop at Nyle Maxwell to look at a Lonestar edition but while browsing the internet I saw a Laramie at Covert that had a good price on it because it was a loaner and had 4k miles on it. So I called Covert and I was put in touch with my Sales Rep Jonathan. He told me to come down and look at it and they would do their best to make me forget about the Lonestar at Nyle Maxwell. Well, it was as clean as a brand new one off the truck and already out front so we did not have to walk the lot. It was a beautiful truck with lots of upgraded trim and features. My wife and I drove it around and I was extremely impressed with the power that was delivered by the Hemi. So, I had to get it. It was already marked down to a reasonable price and I didn't figure that I would be able to get it any lower but Jonathan went to bat for me and almost matched the sales price on the Lonestar at Nyle Maxwell. Jonathan went above and beyond to not only get me into a this truck at a good price but also helped when I had a problem with SiriusXM. When I called SiriusXM to set up my free one year trial period they said that I only got 3 months. I went round and round with SiriusXM and the circle just kept coming back to 3 months. So, I told them to forget it and I would go back to my dealer. Well, I sent Jonathan a text and to let him know the problem that I had with SiriusXM and that I would be at the dealership the next day. Jonathan greeted us at the door and jumped right on the problem. He had it rectified with SiriusXM within 30 minutes. The other issue that Jonathan resolved for me had to do with the bumper. There was a minor ding in the center. It wasn't too big but it was enough to catch your eye and throw the bumper out of balance. He was able to get someone to come out and repair the bumper. I was a little skeptical that it could be repaired until today when they delivered my truck to the house. My jaw almost hit the floor because it looked like a brand new bumper. Everything on it was perfect even down to the alignment and body spacing. I don't know how he did it but I am impressed and equally if not more impressed with the diligence and drive that Jonathan put into keeping this customer happy. Thank you Jonathan and Covert. If I owned a dealership I would want 10 more sales reps just like Jonathan. A happy HEMI owner.
