I have recently purchased a new tacoma from Stampede Toyota. I shopped and phoned all dealers in Edmonton/Red Deer/ Cochrane/Calgary. They were the only ones that had an accurate inventory list. ALL of the other dealers listed the truck I wanted but none had one... but could "get me what i wanted if I just come in and make a deal first." Stampede had the truck I wanted and responded in person to my email immediately, it was 9-930pm. We agreed to meet the next morning to view truck, the truck was clean and exactly as stated by sales person Josh Hynes. He said via email I would recieve a "killer deal". I think I did pretty good, I bought a Tacoma Double Cab, TRD Sport, auto....Red Deer Toyota was $39,400 w/tonneau cover, Edmonton Toyota $37,500 no extras, Stampede Toyota was $36,000. Including step bars, hood deflector, window shades, 3m protection, and heavy skid plate on front. Josh was straight forward, no sales pitches, no "BS'. I picked up the truck and he asked if I was completely happy with everything, I told him I think I could have picked it up for $35,500 if I would have stuck out the bargaining a bit longer... I was just kidding, but he seemed genuinely concerned if I was unhappy. I laughed it off and got a free Toyota Hat! Over all a great experience, and really like the Tacoma.
