We booked into the RC for Easter break after my wife had a terrible check in experience with a neighboring 5 star hotel. I just won't go into that, but I will say that the RC took us in like family (ok.... paying family) and made us feel right at home. They found 2 rooms on the Club level and everything about the experience was perfect. My wife said it best, "why stay anywhere else?" and the likelihood is we won't when staying in the OC for those really nice beach vacations. Let me give a shout out to the awesome club staff that took care of us. Penni Garcia, Colleen Burkhalter, Diana Tango.... all wonderful, patient, endearing people. To the entire crew on the Club level let me tell you how nice it is to hear the words "welcome home" when we returned each day from our ventures. That is such a nice way to make a person feel welcome. And it truly was a home away from home because of your attentive service, and the customer first mentality of the Ritz Carlton.
