So I guess on balance we had mainly good experiences with the hotel but with a few gripes.
The room we had at the rear of the hotel on the first floor was small and slightly claustrophobic. Certainly we ve enjoyed much bigger rooms for much less money in other establishments. As such the room was too hot and very noisy from various external extraction systems located in the centre of the building at ground level. The small double bed was too firm and uncomfortable for our tastes. The strange noises emanating from it every time one us moved suggests it is long overdue a replacement.
Pillows next. One extremely poor and somewhat damp smelling pillow per person in a bed, and with no supplied extras in wardrobes falls far short of customer expectations in this day and age. You get more than that in a Premier Inn!!!
Staff were without exception, delightfully friendly and courteous.

Will we return again? No, on the basis of this experience I think probably not......
