Did you know that the Statue of Liberty's skin is only two pennies thick! That is incredible and that also to automobiles could on the size of her tablet that she holds. I highly recommend picking up the audio guide to her that is including the price of your ticket when you walk around the statue. I only purchased the in ground tickets so I was unable to access the pedestal and Crown and I still had a great time and great views of her. Next trip or in several years from now I will try to get the ticket for the crown but it does not make a break your time seeing Statue of Liberty only be on the ground I had a fantastic time and learn lots of stuff regarding the Statue of Liberty. There is a bathroom and food court on the island. The museum that contain the original torch was not completed at the time of her visit so I was slightly disappointed that I could not see the torch, the original torch in person/ up close.
