First, I'll say that I live in a rural area, middle of nowhere in Okeechobee, I'm not sure if they provide other ways of service, but the one I use with them requires a tower, and one of their modem/receiver dishes, it runs off a radio tower. My understanding of it is, it's basically a huge wifi system. I don't really have any idea, but I imagine they have much better, more stable connections for people who don't have to rely on this whole mess.

The service itself is decent, when it works anyway, so long as you have a cleared area, no trees within a good distance of the receiver, and a decent tower for it to be on. It's a far better alternative to satellite ISPs anyway, but that's not saying much.

However...

The last few months there's been some interference with the towers out here... They don't seem to be doing anything about it. The packet loss is immensely disruptive to online gaming and streaming videos at any decent quality. As I said, it's been months... Some days it's not so bad, other days it's awful and I can barely do anything.

100 dollars a month for this... until it gets fixed and back to working like it used to, definitely a one star service.
