My check engine light came on in Menlo Park during covid right before my car died on me in a parking lot, and honestly I felt really stuck. I live in Oakland, and I wasn't sure where nearby would be able to help quickly and affordably. I hopped on yelp, and Stress-Free auto popped up as not too far. I called to make sure they had time for me mid afternoon, and Rhett picked up the phone right away and was very courteous and kind saying they did.

I got my car towed there and they immediately checked it in and made sure I knew how they would be assisting me. They diagnosed the issue right away, it was sensor related, and worked to get the parts needed ASAP. Unfortunately, they wouldn't be available till the next morning.

They did a full work up for me the next morning while replacing the sensors, and gave me an extremely detailed report with pictures. They ended up giving me a very precise time-frame of how quickly they could prepare my vehicle with the other issues that needed addressing, and it was absolutely spot on and I was able to get my car before closing.

They give you real time updates through text that you can respond to with questions, and are very easy to reach. Rhett helped me a lot at the front desk, and all of the other staff were incredibly helpful and efficient.

I can't recommend this place enough, they fixed my car for a fair price, and did it in a very small time frame of about 30 hours, and got my car back to me before a holiday weekend. A huge thanks to them all, and if you're stuck and in need of help, come here!
