Great place for teenagers to work. However, since they are teenagers the staff will not give them a break/lunch unless they ask for one. They have been made to work over six hours without even a 15 minute break.Many of the teenagers have quit for this reason or just do not come to work. I personally know of three.
I can telI you what the law says about this type of thing but I will let the supervisors and owner look it up and make IMMEDIATE changes. If the supervisor (Gina) would visit the floor (instead of having kids in charge) then she would see exactly what goes on. How do you fire someone because YOU didn't give them a break/lunch?? Do right by your employees (teenager or not) and you will be able to keep good workers.
