We had a horrific experience with labor and delivery. My wife had an emergency c section and the doctor lacerated her cervix without knowing it . After being sewed back up, my wife had to convince a nurse to check for bleeding. Turns out she was bleeding to death right in front of them and they didn't even notice . It was almost too late. On top of that, the anastesologist who was at the end of a 12 hour shift made a mistake with the epidural resulting in a leaking of spinal fluid. She couldn't sit up for a month. There seemed to be constant confusion, lack of communication between departments, and missinformation every step of the way. Nurses in training we're not qualified and had to be corrected by my wife multiple times. We will never return to this department again .
