Tom Berry's review sounds suspiciously like Mark Thompson responding to the BBB Online complaints against Smith Thompson.
No, not everyone who has a complaint about a bad product or service is a chronic complainer, but it's interesting that Tom's review of ST is the only positive one he's left. Does that make him someone who "gripes for no reason whatsoever"? Does he "have problems with any and everything"? Those are the very things Mark Thompson repeats in response to customer complaints at BBB....right before he cancels their service instead of addressing the issues.
The prices are great; the dispatchers are, too. But have an issue requiring a chat with management and you'll be treated with complete disrespect and a "leave if you don't like it" solution. Calls to Mark Thompson were not returned which is what prompted us to check BBB online. There we saw repeated what we experienced when we called. Guessing this is a family-run operation so all the managers know they can do and say whatever they want to a customer because the owner does. we didn't bother filing a complaint; we just cancelled our service since we knew that's how they would handle it.
If you're considering this company, we suggest you check BBB online first. ST may appear to have an A+ rating, but read the complaints and responses from the company. They are all the same and their customer service is anything but.
