A must-see for any Paris trip. It is just a short Metro ride (although you have to pay to get back to Paris if you bought the ParisPass as it is outside the zone included in your Metro pass). It is so incredibly ornate and so lavish that it basically caused the downfall of the monarchy in France. It is important to note that it takes almost a full day to see just the main Chateau so if you want to see the gardens and auxillary buildings plan on needing 2 days. Also show up about an hour before opening bc if you arrive late the lines can be over 4 hours long!
