The school is good but the excursions leave a lot to be desired.

I was asked by the teacher / guide on the Ubahn which I way I voted regarding Brexit. She was pretty insistent on knowing the answer when she heard where I came from. I found it pretty rude as I've no wish to re-run the election and I've no wish to discuss my private thoughts on how this will affect me. Not on a school trip and certainly not on the Ubahn with someone I've just met.

The school gives out homework every night so it keeps you on your toes for the next day. Plus point if you're really there to study.

Most teachers won't speak to you in English which I really like as I'm already a native English speaker and pay a lot of money to learn German... I don't feel like giving a free English tutorial to whoever wants to practice when I'm paying a hellova lot of money to learn German... there are odd ocassions though
I DON'T NEED AN ENGLISH TRANSLATION. .. TELL ME IN GERMAN.

WiFi is free so youll need to ask for the password at reception... It changes every week so you'll need to ask them every Monday you're there. Expect to be looked at if you hang around at reception to use it too much.

Books are included but you'll need some writing paper and folder. Some language schools give you paper and a bag. Helps them promote I suppose... gls don't.

Would definitely recommend the school. Maybe not the excursions. They should work more on their programme.
