Small orangutan centre with unsuitable - ugly viewing nursery building - architecture which doesn't correspond to the nature and the surrounding environment, dirty glass with bad reflections destruct the viewers' experience. Don't miss very good and informative film and gallery at the entrance of the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation centre. The nearby Sandakan Forest Research Centre would be a much better choice to enjoy spotting orangutans in the nature.
