Everyone that you talk to at Rese will be very kin...

Everyone that you talk to at Rese will be very kind and try to be helpful. I'm moving to SLC from California. When I called I spoke to several people and the experience, honestly was great. They were willing to answer questions about the area and said if I put in an application, then it could be transferred from property to property, which is really nice, especially because one can spend a LOT of money applying to various apartments.

However, it took Rese more than 5 business days to process my application, during which, all the properties I was interested in were rented out. This left me feeling hung out to dry.

Additionally, one of the properties I wanted to see was leased before my appointment, no big deal that happens, but at least call me to let me know so that I can see other places. They did not, again wasting time.

When talking on the phone everyone will seem helpful, but usually when you ask a pointed question, the answer is "let me talk to ______ and I'll call you right back." I was promised a call back and did not receive one THREE times over a day and a half. That is unbelievably poor customer service. I second the other review that it seems like they want to do a good job, but are overworked and understaffed. They have access to desirable properties, particularly if you don't want to live in a bigger complex, but what is the point if they just waste your time.

After writing this initial review, a manager contacted me and apologized. They seemed like they want to make it right...but it was too little too late. If they can get their act together, they could be the best resource to small units in the Salt Lake area, but their organization and service needs some work. Hire more people, and hire quality people.

Moving is difficult on its own and at this point Rese doesn't make your life any easier.
