We terminated an employee & this exemployee joined...

We terminated an employee & this exemployee joined one of our competitors. This exemployee wrote multiple fake damaging negative reviews on Google maps/business with FAKE NAMES & aliases. These fake accounts have never done business with us & can not be found in our CRM or contacts. Some of these names can even be found in obituatuaries & have no other online profiles (no Facebook, LinkedIn, etc). To make matters worse, these fake accounts initiated personal attacks on myself which could be considered liable per our Legal counsel. When we contacted Google regarding these matters, we could only Speak with a call center overseas who told us that after their reading of the review it does not violate their policies and that there is nothing they could do. To be clear the only action they took is reading the review, Google did not research these accounts, they did not Look up the individuals on any platform, they did not even "Google" them To see if these were even real people. We will not be letting this issue go and we will be seeking legal counsel and take every action we can.
