Avoid this company at all cost. The incompetence of the sales manager Candi Devenne in their Tampa office in beyond reproach.

Our firm is in the process of selling many of our rental portfolio assets, and we had a buyer that used that firm to originate her loan. On September 8, 2020, we were told that all is good and the appraiser did not call for any repairs .

However, on September 21, she finally provided the appraisal that came in significantly below what she had said on September 8. When asked the difference, her response was that it was "simply an oversight on her part", and it was up to us, the seller, to lower the price. We do not agree with the appraisal, as it does not reflect our own knowledge of what we have sold our own properties for in the immediate area, and believe it to be flawed based on factors that were not considered.

However, what Ms. Devenne has done:

1. Cost the seller two weeks of being able to market the property. Had the proper information been provided to our realtor on the 8th, the contract would have been cancelled and we would have moved on.
2. The buyer was ready to close in less than a week, had already packed, given notice to her landlord, and was switching utilities, all of the time consuming items it takes to move, basing her knowledge that she was given the proper information. She may have made homeless, with 3 young children, and no telling the costs involved in reversing everything that was in place.

We will be reporting this lack of professionalism and incompetence to the office of Consumer Finance for state of Florida.
