The Sunshine Skyway is a major travel artery between the Sarasota - Bradenton area and Pinellas - Tampa area for work, college and leisure travel. It once was an efficient and dependable travel artery until uncontrolled migration and growth, from principally the north, has significantly congested daily travel during principally during rush hour over the last few years making it an almost daily nightmare. Hardly a day, a week goes by that traffic isnt shutdown from aggressive drivers (that once rarely existed) creating traffic wrecks, and many often severe in nature, or the occassionally bridge jumper. As a resident who has lived most of his life in the area, now looking forward to retirement and leaving the area that has become Paradise Lost. It'll never get better.
