I just want to share with people my personal experience with CMI TOYOTA at Adelaide West Terrace. I bought my brand new Toyota Corolla from them in 2016. When I made the purchase, I asked lots of questions about the Finance and insurance finance Gap. I spoke with Greg, the sales person, while we waited for the girl. When I asked in regard to paying off the loans of my car early, Greta, our finance person at CMI Toyota, very clearly told me, At Toyota we have our own finance so if you take that loan and you want to pay it off early, you don t have pay an exit fee . Now I want to pay off the whole loan and the finance people told me I have to pay a fee on top of the original loan. I was shocked and suprised. The Finance girl Greta lied to me. I told the head office in Victoria what happened when we took the loan and he said, This is very standard. If anyone out there is willing to buy a brand new car, just make sure you don t buy from CMI Toyota. I wouldn t recommend them to my friends, international students or my family. Their sales people just want to make a quick buck and they provide bad customer service.
Another thing is they don t honour their car servicing contract. I paid extra for fabric protection in my warranty but when they serviced my car last time, they got oily fingerprints on the fabric of the interior and refused to clean it up. I had to pay for it out of pocket.
As for you, Greta Simpson, you hung up on me on Friday. That s no problem but I wouldn t do business with you again. As I m involved with international students at universities, I wouldn t recommend CMI toyota to any new students.
