We stayed at this property for one night in September. When I made the reservation, I accidentally chose the wrong night and realized my mistake soon after and cancelled that night and re booked for the correct date. We showed up, we ate in the restaurant, had drinks in the bar, parked in the lot and got charged and gave this hotel over 318 dollars for our stay, happily, because we are Marriott Elite members and only stay at Marriott's because we are always happy with the service we get. I even wrote this hotel a nice review. Fast forward to today when I opened my Marriott Bonvoy credit card statement and there sits a big fat charge for $125.00 for the night I had to cancel because I made a date error. I got on the phone to the hotel and without hesitation thought that was the answer to clear this up. NOPE! The guy who spoke to me basically informed me that they had a 72 hour cancellation policy (which if you stay in a lot of hotels, you know is rare) and because of that I was out of luck. He took nothing of the above information into consideration and offered me no help or hope to rectify the situation and get my money back. So, FYI people, don't let your fat fingers hit the wrong date or it will cost you big time. This is nothing short of poor customer service and a lack of treating elite card members with any respect or appreciation. So, hope you enjoy my $125.00 dollars, as I'm sure you've made quite a killing off of those kind of tactics and the parking fees. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone nor will I stay here again.
