Horrible experience. Had an appointment for a specific time & arrived to find at least a dozen cars ahead of me. Dropped off car and received a call 2 hrs. later from a service technician, asking me why I dropped the car off. I had already discussed this with a representative who checked me in and the receptionist I made the appointment with the day before. The service technician ended up giving me an estimate for two items, saying their diagnostics showed I needed a catalytic converter and a power steering pump. They tried to present me with a fraudulent estimate nearing $2,000. I told the tech I couldn't afford that so he negotiated and got the price down to $1600. Something didnt sit right with me, so I took the car elsewhere and had it diagnosed. The car didnt need the power steering pump at all. I ended up getting the catalytic converter fixed for $475. A HUGE different from $2K.
I am angry that a company dealership like FORD, would allow such representation of their company. I will never use a Ford Dealership again for service and this will be the LAST Ford car I own.
