Review of South Midlands Mail Centre

My parcel was sent from here to Leamington Spa DO ...

My parcel was sent from here to Leamington Spa DO (25-30 minutes from me) and they held it for SIX days before sending back to S. Mid MC, then S. Mid sent it to Warwick DO (20 minutes from me)
Which is also aparantly not the right DO to deliver to my home... So Warwick have sent it back to Northampton.

The policy is that a parcel is sent to the wrong DO, it is returned to the MC it came from.
I have waited 12 days and counting when BOTH of the places S.Mid sent my parcel to (in error) were no more than 30 minutes away from my house.

There is a serious lack of sense in this policy when the parcel is so close to send it back away again.
After calling to chase my parcel when it was in Leamington, I was told it would have to go back to S. Mid and back out to me, and another mistake and the counter intuitive policy means this parcel has wasted hours of time, petrol and money.

I still don't have my parcel.

This error needs to be addressed and the policy reviewed.

Until this is done, I emplore everyone to use any other courier service than Royal mail.

P. S. I was able to get a parcel delivered by a different company (I ordered on the same day as this parcel) from Germany in five days.
