I noticed that not once is 'Internal Care and Support' or 'ICAS' mentioned on their website while there is a whole page dedicated to diaries and the uniform shop both of which are pretty self-explanatory. Let me explain, as the school seems to be incapable or unwilling to inform parents and students about this important part of the school.

ICAS is basically internal exclusion where a student is forced to sit in a room with a few other students silently for up to 5 hours and 25 minutes without a break and 9 hours with an hours break (which is also completed in silence with no exposure to fresh air except the 30 second long walk to and from the restaurant to buy cold food as warm food is forbidden in ICAS)..(No i'm not making this up). During this time students read their own reading book or do textbook work on their own in silence. Included in the ICAS package is a lovely 1 hour detention after school as well, which is also....in silence.

So if you are wondering what sort of evil crime one would have to commit to be escorted to this prison then wonder no more because these are just a few of the many reasons why i have gone to ICAS: Being 30 seconds late to school, saying 'ok' to a teacher in a certain manner which she didn't like (when no rudeness was intended) and for having a low attendance due to illness with the school accusing me of truancy with no evidence whatsoever.

So by typing this 'essay' i wanted to inform or at least give a 'brief' summary of ICAS as the school does not offer this information on their website. I have not made ANY of this information up (however ridiculous it may seem).

I hope that you have a good day and for your own sake and your son/daughter's sake - Don't send your kid to this school!
