My car was involved in an accident not too far from Pearson's Hyundai late one Wednesday evening. Luckily, my car was drivable, and I drove it to Pearson's; and left it there since the service department was closed. I received a call from Pearson's early Friday morning letting me know what repairs were needed and how much the repairs would cost. After talking to my insurance company, I decided to take my car to a body shop.

When I picked my car up from Pearson's, to my surprise and delight, it drove much better and sounded better than it did when I took it there. You see, when I drove my car to Pearson, the muffler was damaged, and it was hanging and banging against the bottom of my car, plus my car's motor sounded very loud. It was so embarrassing driving my car the short distance to Pearson's. The mechanic who examined my car to see what repairs were needed, (temporarily) reattached my muffler. When I picked my car up to take it to the body shop, my muffler had been put back in place and stabilized; it no longer banged against the bottom of my car. Even though my damaged muffler still made my car sound loud, It no longer banged . . . Therefore, it wasn't too embarrassing driving my car to the body shop. Because my car was drivable, (to my disappointment) the body shop asked me to keep it during the weekend and turn it in to them Monday!! When I drove my car on the weekend, I wasn't too embarrassed. I no longer had a hanging muffler banging against the bottom of my car at every stop light. Thanks to Pearson!

For Pearson's repair estimate and for (temporarily) reattaching my muffler, I was charged only $71.00. Since Pearson's is a major car dealership, I was glad to see that this service did not cost over $100.00. I was also very pleased with the friendly service that I got, on both days, from everyone who I encountered at Pearson's Hyundai.
