Saw the bridge from a distance at sunset and close up in the fog and again the next day when it was clearer. An iconic structure in a beautiful setting but the world is full of suspension bridges. If bridges are your thing and you are ever near Newport South Wales UK come and see the Newport Transporter Bridge. see photos attached. and ride the Gondola or if you're feeling brave climb the towers and walk across the boom to the other side..... Its one of only 5 such bridges in the world.... Admittedly the setting isn't as beautiful as the San Francisco Bay but the experience of walking across is fantastic j Jo
