Wear confy shoes and be ready to walk.
If you go by train there is a bus (Bx12) that takes you from Pelham to the park, its a walking distance anyway; I walked nd i enjoyed.
I like how animal are divided per continent.
It a beautiful place to bing your kids.
The main gate and the fountain design are extremely mystical.
The only thing i didn't like there were not much animals as i expectes and the tiger, was very skinny; i felt like was not well feed, so sorry

If you haven been there, its a must go if you are in NYC.
