On February 6, 2014, I purchased a 24" screen desktop that stopped working on July 10. WorldWide Tech people tried to repair it but needed an additional part. On July 22, I received a call from Meg in the Philippines, whose English skills were limited, to the effect that a part that was needed would not arrive until AUGUST 8 !!! That means that my 5 month old Lenovo computer will have been out-of-service for a full month.

When I asked to speak to Meg's supervisor, I was told that it would take THREE business days before someone would call me (one assumes that Lenovo employees communicate via snail-mail).

I have now called the Lenovo corporate offices and have left a message. I wonder how long it will be before another Philippine employee contacts me with a scripted message? My friends all told me that I should have bought a MAC. I should have listened to them.
