My children sent us on a night away to G Hotel last night, we didn't check in until after 7pm, the receptionist was very helpful, friendly and wished my happy birthday nice touch to start with. The Deluxe double room was very luxurious as you can see from the photos we had a lovely relaxed night.
The next morning we went for breakfast at 10.40am we were seated and asked if we wanted tea and toast which we agreed to. We placed our order of full Irish which was brought about 5 minutes later. The sausages were hard to cut not very hot and had a sour taste, mushrooms had been left in water too long, tomatoes was burned on one side for both mine and my partners breakfast. Their rashers and hash brown was the only edible foods. While waiting for breakfast we had a side of toast we had to ask two staff member for some toast to eat with the Full Irish also ask a second time for butter as did the couple beside us. I left 90% of my breakfast to the side and my partner left behind 50% of his abd decided he would go to the front room where you waited to be seated to have weetabix. The room was in two continental was first part of breakfast room the next room was for anyone having hot foods strange it's not all in the one area, people were walking in and out doors to have breakfast!
My partner waited 10 minutes for milk for his weetabix he decided to just leave them after having to ask a second time he had earlier asked this same staff member for water as there was none available he came back with tap water no ice!

The breakfast manager I'm presuming tall man with suit and glasses came to the table and asked can he clear it, took both plates and did not comment once about the amount of food been left on plates!

These may seem like petty complaints however it cost 378 for one nights stay at this hotel - 189 per person very disappointing not to mention your not even offered or given a front room to view the bay outside we were given a room over looking a car park
