I had one of the most relaxing, fun, and eye-opening vacations of my life while staying here at the Four Seasons. Lanai is such a unique island with diverse landscapes throughout. The Four Seasons is located right in the heart and shows you the best of it all. Go snorkeling in one of the best snorkeling bays in the world, just a few hundred yards from your room. Walk past the beach and you will be greeted with many tidepools and incredible views of the resort and Sweetheart Rock- a large freestanding red rock formation in the shape of a heart located just off the shore. If you want to wind down and just lay by the pool, have a drink or meal served to your lounge chair overlooking the sea, and enjoy a resort attendant gently misting your sun-drenched face with an Evian Water mister. Yes, they actually do that! The food was delicious and the service was nothing less than excellent. This is hands down the best resort on Lanai and I hope I am able to take another trip to the island to do this wonderful experience all over again!

*During your stay on Lanai, I recommend renting a 4x4 jeep or equivalent and taking a day road trip around the island. The other side- overlooking two other hawaiian islands- has several ancient petroglyphs and fishing grounds scattered throughout, as well as a beach with a plethora of debris floating ashore from the ocean channel, and a shipwreck just off the coast of that beach. Sometimes you could even watch windsurfers surf the choppy waters in the channel near the shipwreck if you come on the right day!
