I rent from Dollar, Thrfty, and Hertz around the country never have I ever had a problem with my card. I get to the counter at this location which I have been to before same card, and the agent advises me that they don't accept my card. I pulled up previous contracts showed them to the agent charged thousands at a time with the same card. I will be reaching out to Dollar directly because I have to spend my 30th birthday writing a negative review about some very unprofessional agents and manager that I dealt with last night. One of the agents a male decided to try to insult my intelligence by saying 'NETSPEND' cards go through and they are prepaid. My business debit card and ID crossed multiple hands, and I didn't appreciate that (Pamela the agent I was working with who started this fiasco, Darnesha-the agent that called herself helping and did not, another female clerk wanted to see it herself to "verify" that they didn't take it as she was passing by, the manager, and some guy holding a baby in the managers office also was standing over my personal information.
Now if the company has changed their debit card policy someone should've had that in writing somewhere. These Dollar/Thrifty agents criticized and ostracized me in front about 10 people who were waiting in line, and I don't appreciate it.
But the lack of professionalism and the mishandling of someone's personal information are biggest issues that I have with this location. After I pulled up previous contracts one over $1000 from last month using the same card my reservation should've been honored. What gets me with these agents is that my insurance covers the car in the event of an accident or situation not my debit card. There are very few people whose debit cards could take a hit for the cost of an entire rental car.

Dollar/Thrifty/Hertz you never have a problem charging me so why should I have to deal with poor customer service and ignorant low level employees.
