The care coordination at this hospital is abysmal....

The care coordination at this hospital is abysmal. My mother had two recent stays after a stroke and both times the left hand never knew what the right hand was doing. We waited more than 6 hours for a discharge due to numerous delays and miscommunications. And no one is able to help you, even if they appear willing, which is also quite rare. And if you need help on the weekend, you are completely out of luck. Anyone with any authority works 9-5, Monday through Friday. If your parent gets sick, I recommend you choose another hospital. Otherwise, you ll have to get used to a lot of lost sleep and frustration caring for your loved one.
