I rarely send feedback to hotels but as I have stayed in many Shang hotels around Asia I think I should remark on your barbaric treatment of smokers. While understanding the law of the Philippines and the policy of the hotel, there is no good reason why you can not provide several smoking areas that have some protection from the elements. It was downright dangerous to go for a smoke during some of the storms i experienced during my stay and i would consider that a law suit waiting to happen. If your management is so inclined why not just advertise that smokers are unwelcome. A disgrace for a normally accommodating hotel chain.
