On July 30, 2020, I scheduled an appointment to bring my RX 350 in for front and rear brake service. I had scheduled the appointment with David Jaramillo. However, upon my arrival he appeared to be busy removing oil cans, and I was switched to another service person that didn't mention his name Mr. Riz Khan. I explained to the gentleman that I had called and the receptionist stated that they matched competitors coupons from other Lexus service dealers. Upon presenting the coupon the service person quickly began making phone calls about the Lexus coupon I presented. Lexus of Rockville Centre refused to honor the coupon. Next, I requested to speak with the manager (Juan Martinez), the manager said if its not a local coupon he wouldn't accept it. I asked him for his policy and his reply "was it's just common sense". I managed to take my vehicle to Lexus on Northern Blvd; they had a written policy of coupon matching and were extremely professional. Although, I have been a longtime customer of Rockville Centre Lexus, strongly recommend avoiding Lexus of Rockville Centre, there practices are deceptive, and they are not honorable.
