The year of 2020 started off well for me with Neiman Marcus. I used the curbside pickup to purchase two handbags and a t-shirt. Both my bags had a few issues upon arrival and the t-shirt had no issues. One bag had the NM store tag cut off and put into the dustbag and the other bag included extra hardware that did not belong to the bag. I overlooked these errors as I was thrilled with both bags and was keeping them. The curbside pickup went well with these purchases and the sales associates were very nice over the phone. So far so good, until yesterday. I purchased another bag that upon arrival was not going to work and I decided to go in store to return. When I received the bag, it has some white lint on the suede interior that I really thought nothing about as it was there when I received it and it is lint for heaven sake! The associate accused me of using the bag and said she could not accept a return. She also scolded me that I should have called the store to report the lint. I was mortified and humiliated as I NEVER used this bag, it had the tags attached and I was well within the return period. I protested and she asked a manager in jewelry about the return and I approached them and told them I never used the bag! The bag was ultimately returned but my view of this store is very negative. No apology was given and I left feeling abused! Such bad customer service! I will never patronize Neiman Marcus in store or online again.
