I live about 6 blocks from this amazing Italian speciality store. The owners make all the salamis and various cured meats that are all to die for. They also make fresh mozzarella, fresh and salted multiple times a day. They have a huge assortment of cheeses, fresh made italian eats (aranciata, antipasti salads, baked clams, you name it they have it!), and are a butchery as well. All in maybe a 15x10' place.

Just as good as the quality of food are the prices - cheap! Today I got 1/4 pound of orange-fennel salami, 1/4 pound of honey goat gouda, the biggest aranciata you have ever seen (grapefruit size) and a loaf of fresh italian bread, all for $12.

I also found out today they have 75 cent coffee.

But above all else, the reason I LOVE and not just really, really, really like this place if because the owners are the sweetest people ever - they remembered me only from coming in once and every time I am there I leave full because they just keep giving me samples of everything in the store! You can ask for samples of anything but be careful once you ask, they will have you taste everything in the store. How awful is that? ;)

Honestly, the coolest place ever.
