I don t know why it s hard to get a reservation here. It s nothing special. If you re trying to get a last minute table, you re out of luck. Tell them you re a celebrity, a food critic, celebrating a special occasion, or perhaps, drop a Benjamin, but no; bribery will not fly here. I got the impression that this restaurant was trying to create a nonexistent hype. I m sorry, but you are not going to be the next Lucia (for those of you that don t know, that is one of the hardest restaurants in the Dallas area to get a reservation, rightfully so due to the demands, food and impeccable service). Anyways, the earliest I could book a reservation was a week out, and that was on a Sunday at 9:30pm. We arrived promptly at 9:30pm, and immediately when we were seated, the waitress told us they close the kitchen AND the restaurant at 10pm. Seriously?!? Why even make a 9:30pm reservation an option? It typically takes 10 minutes to scope out the menu and ask questions before determining what you want to order. Prior to that, you want to sit down and enjoy a refreshing, alcoholic beverage with some friendly banter, for let s say, 10 mins or so. That's 20 minutes spent settling in at the restaurant and how much time did we have to eat? NONE! We had ordered bulk loads of food for two, including the Balsamic Burrata, General TSO s Cauliflower, Classique Mac n Cheese, Vegan Gardein Pizza, the Rib Eye, and a drink each for the two of us. The food came out rather quickly but we had no more than 3-4 minutes to enjoy it before the waitress brought our check while the other workers were clearing tables and cleaning up, hindering that fact to get the f*** out. We were so rushed that we only got a tasting of what we ordered, which was good, but it sucked that we had to bring ALL that food packed back to our home. By the time we got home, the food was cold and we didn t get to enjoy the items as we liked. One of the worse dinning experiences a foodie can ever encounter!
