I took my Mazda 3 in for its first service recently. I will preface this review by saying that I have since spoken to the service manager (Steve) and he assures me that my next visit will be much better because they are shaking the service department up.
Appointment at 10am - didn't get helped until 10:45. They said our alignment was out base on their new machines. OK. So we ate the $120 alignment suggestion. I paid for all of my service up front when I purchased the car because the sales guy said it was a great deal. Now I am locked into this mess. Once inside we waited another 30 minutes for the service cashier to "find" us in the system since we had prepaid.
We got a call around 2:30 saying our car was ready. We waited until 3:40 just in case and still ended up waiting another 45 minutes for them to find or wash our car.
I called to complain and was sent to a voicemail. After a week of not hearing back I called Mazda Corporate. I finally got a call from Steve and he apologized and promised it would be different next time. We will see and I will update this review when that happens.
