Bill Wheeler Review of The Mad Hatter Tea Room

I met the owners and their son a month or so back at the 13 Gears Steampunk Convention. Last week my friend Sean and I headed to Anoka to visit them and visit the city. To our amazement the building is old and beautiful inside and out. The little things you find hidden in the lawn is fun. Little rabbits, tea pots and such. Bad luck for us there was not a seat available for hours. We could smell and see the food and what we saw made our mouths water. So we headed upstairs to the gift shop. I bought a Madhatter tea cup, Royal Wedding tea and Raspberry Patch tea. Oh and we ended up talking to the son and I believe her name is Liz or Lisa, for a long time. I add a bit of honey to both but even without the honey they are simply delicious. I will call ahead next time to reserve a seat. It s easy to find, great customer service and awesome tea. Next is to get my hands on some food. Go....you ll love it. Dress up or come casual. Tea.....it loves everybody.
