Billing practices for charging "late fees for co-insurance" are an additional stream of income for this office. I was recuperating from multiple surgeries that had me unable to check my email for several weeks. I had my HSA card on file and due to my out of work status it was $6.00 dollar short of funds. I explained to Billie Orris that I had been recovering from surgery to which the response was "Office policy clearly stated that payments needed to be made within 30 days". So even if you are laying half dead in a bed, you better make sure to pay the Co-insurance within 30 days. Well guess what Lanier "Family" part of patient care-communication is working with patients who have been affected both by medical conditions. It is beyond me how you can tell a patient that is recovering from multiple surgeries, that you don't care, Policy is Policy. The billing staff which apparently includes family are rude and have no patient-communication skills nor empathy. If I could give zero stars, I would.
