I'm just going to get right to the main points.

Pros: Right off the beach in santa monica pier, great service, good food and drinks

Cons: Way overpriced

So my boyfriend and I came on a Friday afternoon and it was relatively chilly. They were BUSY. We still requested to sit outside because the sun was out so it wasn't too bad. unfortunately they seated us in the very back right side corner where it was FREEZING. But luckily, they have woven blankets on the chairs so I just draped that around my shoulders. Pretty neat huh?

Anyways, we order beers, margaritas, guac with chips, and steak tacos (comes in 3). The drinks were good and the margarita was heavy on the tequila which I loved. The guac and salsa was delicious. We cleaned that up no problem. Now the tacos were scrumptious! The meat was somewhat marinated and also tender! It came with beans and rice. The rice could have been better seasoned. It looked beautiful but tasted bland which is unlike mexican rice. The beans were beans, nothing special. Unfortunately, I thought it was really overpriced though. $18 for just the 3 tacos! Crazy right?

But overall, we didn't like where we were seated and everything was overpriced. However the food is good so I couldn't complain that much. Plus the convenience of being right there off the pier made it so much easier. Prime location!
