Unfortunately, there is at least an hours wait to enter Palace, due to security checks. Some of the Palace i.e Mesdames rooms are closed for renovation. It took one hour to tour at a comfortable pace. The gardens will be wonderful in the summer. We were there end of March and it was bitterly cold.
Tips: if you come by train exit the station to the right . Cross the road and turn right uphill, then first left.
