I am really displeased with the service that the sales department had showed me. From the time I arrived at the dealership to the internet person I spoke to. I only had to go through the website because the sales manager put me with a person that wasn't a salesman, which he was actually pretty nice, gave me a card to a salesman he recommended but he didn't return any of my emails. I drove the car and then attempted to negotiate the price like a normal person not to have a counter or just flat out be told no, which would have been acceptable, I was insulted and treated like I couldn't afford anything there. I will now REFUSE to purchase anything from the sales department at ANY Tonkin dealership because this wasn't the first time I have had service like this. We attempted to buy a car at their Mazda dealer and attempted the same negotiation and they wouldnt budge. We found the same car for even less than we offered posted on Craigslist by them. On a positive note, the service department is probably good because it is at the other ones I visited. Advice to Tonkin.... make your sales staff learn from your service staff because they are a pleasure to deal with at least at Mazda, Honda and Toyota. Result, I bought a brand new car from KUNI Lexus. They treated me like a human and even negotiated price with me. Quite the quality dealer.
