What exactly do you get for $1350-$2250 per season...

What exactly do you get for $1350-$2250 per season a Real? Bright red Jersey, minimal playing time, and maybe your kid will somehow get better by watching the coaches favorites or the players who's parents pay for private coaching get all the playing time. I really don't understand why parents continue to push their kids through places like this. Cant name a single star player that has come through their system. Your kid could get more out of playing rec leagues, and supplement that with some private coaching, and playing pickup games with friends, which is how they do it all over the world. And people wonder why there are no great American soccer players when they pay top dollar for clubs and training. I wonder if this is just nothing but brag at BBQ's and birthday parties that their kid plays for "Real Soccer".
