I was very disappointed in my experience at the Hilton Queenstown Lakeside residences.
The check-in was slow and the parking arrangement outside reception was chaotic with no valet available to manage things. Our room was extremely worn and tired and needed serious maintenance. The kitchen cupboards had broken hinges and were jammed shut, the bathroom had wooden laminate lifting all over the vanity, paint peeling of the walls, furniture surfaces all damaged and stained.
The spa pool had tiles all lifted off and not replaced or repaired.
The room charges on my credit card were a series of mistakes that took several reversals and recharges to correct .
All in all a big let down and unfortunate way to finish a holiday staying in some fabulous places in the Sth Island .
