I had the worse experience just calling trying to get more information about a property that was for rent.
I contacted a very disgruntle and unprofessional agent by the name of Scott Pohl.
I told him I was needing to move soon and that I wanted more information about an apt he had a for rent sign on.
The first thing he asked me was how much money I made?...then he threw a few more questions at me about my income.
I told him I worked...how much I got paid hourly and that I was a student.
Then he goes off on me about how I cant be having my parents taking care of me living there. I told him that I was grown and well into my 30s that I work and take care of myself.
Now he is fussin at me about how much I make yearly...and idk off the top of my head...I know how much I make hourly.
After listen to his 3degree line of questions I realize that the information I was calling about I have not gotten yet. I stopped him and told him again that I wanted to ask him a few questions about the place he told me that he wasn't gonna tell me anything until I faxes him my w2 information from last year.
I responded in shock because this is not what I expected. I started to tell him when the time comes for me to do an application that I will have any information that is needed...but as of now I only had a few questions if he could help.
I still didn't get the information I called about or the rest of that sentence out before Scott Pohl hung up on me.
I am not sure how PalmerHoure Properties run their business or what they expect from their agents...all I do know is that Scott Pohl is bad for business. He is rude, offensive and unprofessional. His behavior today probably stems from a long life of being a brat. If you have an option to work with him I suggest you ask for a different agent. Because this guy Scott is very dodgy. People like that is not who you want to share personal information or sign contracts with.
The fact that he acted so unprofessional and insisted on my tax and personal info before he could answer a few simple questions is shady and an easy set up for a scam. Don't be a victim.
Needless to say I am still looking for a place to stay and it is very discouraging when you get a lead that turns out to be a situation like this.
