I am awfully disappointed in the customer service ...

I am awfully disappointed in the customer service from Google. After roughly a year my Google Pixel had an hardware issue,
the issue was that the vibration motor started to make very strange and annoying sounds. I've had to send my phone in for repair, after 3 weeks
they have sent me a message, that they have recjected my warranty claim and would only repair the phone for about 310 or receive it back without repairif i pay them 30 for the shipping .
The reason for the rejection was, that they was a little scratch at the top corner of my phone.
After this extremly terrible experience with google and it's customer service i will refrain from using any google devices and only can advice other people to do the same.
