This is an awesome place filled exhibits, indoors and outdoors, that explain the history of the area. I had no idea that so many innovations we enjoy today were invented in Dayton, OH. The two live re-enactors at the out buildings could be a little more engaging, but the printer at the print shop made up for their lack of enthusiasm. The exhibit of the Flood of 1914 was so well done and informational. The carousel of innovations was really cute! Where else can kids ride on a bag of Iam's dog foot, or on a can of root beer? Overall, the museum covered so much history that it was impossible to take it all in on one visit. We will return to catch what we missed.
