We arrived in Hershey for a famly vacation expecting to have an amazing experience. However, our hopes were quickly crushed after the terrible experience we had in the cafeteria. We have a 2 year old and a 5 year old, both of which were very hungry. We went to get a hot dog, and were initially told that there were none. The woman in front of us in line told us that hot dogs would be ready in a few minutes, and after asking the employee behind the counter three more times for a hot dog kids meal he finally said we could have one soon. We paid and the hot dogs were out momentarily, but instead of giving them to us they just let them sit on the counter as our children screamed. We asked if we could have our food and they said the mac and cheese would be 10 more minutes. We waited an additional 20 minutes with our food being pushed aside and no attention from the employees who seemed to he ignoring us. If it is that much of a hassel to make the only items they had on the menu, they should have closed for the day, or at least communicated with us and offered an alternative instead of pushing our food to the side, letting it get cold, and frustrating our children by leaving it in eyesight but not letting them have it. We had plans to go to Hershey Park and spend a good portion of our day there, but after this experience we left immediately after we finally got our food, which was cold.
