I was taken to Methodist med center ER Thursday at 10pm July 24, 2020 with level 10 pain, a result of SBO. There are previous records of the same condition at Methodist. It took over five hours before being hooked up to suction equipment to decompress/relieve the pressure. Pressure which could EASILY have resulted in life threatening rupture, sepsis and possible death. Due to the lack of competency in a critical, time-sensitive emergency, next time I will use St Luke's. When my life is at stake, I will no longer trust what I assumed were trained professionals in what is considered the best hospital in the Houston Medical Center.
