I have NEVER experienced such awful customer service as I did at this Bachman's. I went to this location to get a flower arrangement for my coworker when she came back from maternity leave because my usual florist is closed on Sundays. After trying and failing to find an associate to ask for help, I approached the florist counter. The woman was looking down and working with a bouquet, which she finished (took about 2 minutes) before looking up at me, pointedly, as if to say, "What do YOU want?" I asked her if she would help me arrange a bouquet for my coworker, and she huffed and asked what kind of flowers she liked. "I don't know," I said, "but I'm looking for something colorful and bright to welcome her back." The woman looked at me like I had something disgusting on my face, but she huffed around plucking flowers from bins and putting them together in her hand. She asked what colors my coworker liked, and again I said, "I don't know, but I think anything bright will be fine." She literally stopped, looked at me with her hand on her hip, then threw her head back and laughed at me to show just how ridiculous she thought I was. I told her I would pick them out myself, to which she replied, "I will put them together for you and tie them up for $10." I just walked away from her, picked out the flowers on my own, and completely ignored her for the rest of my visit -- and she did the same. I left the store wondering how on Earth a woman like that interacts with people for a living, and vowing never to return to this Bachman's.
